Hey GAPS Community,

We hope you enjoyed your visit of the cyclotron! Missed out? Not to worry because next up in the GAPS tour series is the ISAC Target Hall. Now that you know how the protons are made, you can see one of the uses for them, making radioactive ion beam.

If you are interested in touring the ISAC Target Hall and seeing how we make some of the rarest species on earth, then please sign up for one of 4 tours.​​

Tours will be held on:

    Tuesday May 19th 1pm

    Thursday May 21st 10am

    Tuesday May 26th 1pm

    Thursday May 28th 10am

Please wear long pants and closed toes shoes and do not bring large backpacks. Access is not permitted with implanted medical devices. We will meet outside the ISAC-I main door, plese arrive 5-10 min early. You DO NOT need to check out a pencil dosimeter, we will all be on one dosimeter and stick together.
