Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
What is EDI?
EDI stands for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion/Inclusivity. Equity involves creating equal opportunity for all and eliminating barriers like discrimination and bias. Diversity recognizes and celebrates differences, including individual, social, cultural and political differences.
Inclusion represents the meaningful action that connects the concepts of equity and diversity.
As the GAPS community, we should all be striving to make TRIUMF a more equitable, diverse and inclusive environment. Creating a culture where everyone can thrive and pursue their careers in research is up to all of us. The change can start with you!
