GAPS Wellness Event

GAPS is pleased to announce the following workshop tailored specifically
for graduate students and post docs at TRIUMF, presented by Sarah Joosse
from UBC's Student Wellbeing Promotion:
*Thriving @ TRIUMF: Strategies to Overcome Imposter Syndrome and Enhance
Wellness*
   > Develop a common understanding of what wellness means
   > Discuss what impacts graduate student and post doc fellow wellbeing
   > Increase self-awareness of imposter syndrome and approaches to reduce
feelings of imposter syndrome
   > Identify proactive strategies to enhance wellness (includes reducing
stress and practicing self-care)

This event will take place on Wednesday, August 9th, from 12-1:15pm in the
Main Office Building Auditorium. A healthy lunch will be provided to those
who register:https://doodle.com/poll/3xdh8qynfisxgshm. Registration is
open through August 4th.

At the end of this workshop, interest will be gauged for holding further
workshops organized through UBC's Student Wellbeing Promotion such as
"Time Management" and "Live Well to Learn Well" which go into more depth
about stress, sleep, etc. Please feel free to bring your own
ideas/suggestions as well!
