The GAPS Three Minute Thesis Competition will be held next week on Thursday October 27. Students and postdocs are invited to give a three minute (one slide) presentation of their research, aimed at a scientifically literate non-specialist audience (The actual audience will be your fellow GAPS members, plus three judges from the lab).

This is a great exercise in summarising what you do, and distilling it down to the most important and interesting essence -- very helpful in job interviews.
