National Day for truth and reconciliation
The focus for this edition was on the history and current impacts of colonization on First Nations people in Canada. The presentation below includes resources for learning more about this important topic. We hope this can be a starting point for the TRIUMF community to engage with the process of Truth and Reconciliation and reflect on the history of the people who inhabited this land since time immemorial.
Women and Gender-Diverse Scientists
The focus for this coffee hour was to highlight the history and contributions of women and gender-diverse scientists as well as the struggle for equity and inclusion that persists today.
Mental health and well-being
This edition focused on creating a safe space to engage with the mental health and well-being struggles we all face and raise awareness of the resources available to the TRIUMF community. The presentation provides links to a lot of resources that can help if you are in need of support.
